 Vision Statement
MHC will be an effective and recognized contributor
to an improved Eastern Shore economy by:
identifying, coordinating, and maximizing the assets and strengths of UMES that will provide direct economic value to the region;
organizing economic development projects, programs and strategies that deepen the human capital and economic infrastructure of the region;
providing effective technical assistance to the public and private entities of Eastern Shore to bolster their economic development plans and programs;
seeking to cooperate with other organizations and groups involved in economic development on the Eastern Shore as and other rural areas.
